GENERAL SCOPE

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for plumbing and sanitary installations.
• Calculate material quantities (pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures) and labor requirements.
• Forecast project costs and track budgets for plumbing works.
• Prepare BOQ specific to plumbing and sanitary works.
• Evaluate contractor bids for plumbing sub-contracts.
• Assist in procurement decisions for pipes, pumps, sanitary fixtures, and accessories.
• Review contracts for plumbing and sanitary scopes.
• Handle variations in plumbing works and adjust costs accordingly.
• Monitor contractor compliance with specifications and standards.
• Liaise with plumbing contractors, site engineers, and other QS for integrated works.
• Verify work quantities on site and ensure accurate billing.
• Inspect work progress and certify payment claims related to plumbing.

Compliance

• Ensure all plumbing and sanitary installations comply with building codes, health regulations, and standards.
• Review specifications of materials and ensure correct installation methods.
