Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector responsible for ensuring product quality and safety standards. You will perform mechanical inspections, conduct tests on raw materials and components, and generate detailed reports. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, knowledge of mechanical measurement techniques, and experience in a machine shop or semiconductor industry. Qualifications

  • 2–5 years working in a machine shop or semiconductor industry is required.
  • Basic math abilities are necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical inspection for quality assurance.
  • Conduct inspections on raw materials and components.
  • Generate detailed inspection and nonconformance reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Interface with other departments on quality issues.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Ability to read and apply production instructions
Proficiency in GD&T
Proficiency in mechanical measurement techniques
Experience in precision sheet metal

Education

High School Diploma/equivalent
Some technician coursework/AA degree preferred
ASQ certification preferred

Tools

Handheld tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
CMMs for measurements
