Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking an experienced QC inspector to oversee the quality and safety of welding activities. The candidate will ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan, perform inspections, and maintain reports. Strong knowledge of modern welding and good communication skills are essential. This role includes ensuring HSE requirements are met at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control inspection specifically in welding activities.
• Ability to ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan.
• Experience performing visual inspections and maintaining reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality and safety of welding activities.
• Perform material verification against drawings and QC reports.
• Raise NCRs for any non-compliance observed.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of modern welding

Good communication skills

Ability to read and understand project specifications

Familiarity with Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Blasting Inspection

Job description

• We are looking to hire an expirenced QC inspector to oversee the quality and safety of our company's welding activities.
• Must have advance knowledge of modern welding and good communication skills.
• Ensure that the construction quality is in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan
• Read, understand and implement project related ITP, Procedures, Specification requirements
• Ensure Material verification against drawing, cutting plan and QC Report.
• Perform visual inspection and maintain the reports
• Perform fit-up inspection against drawing/WPS
• Demonstrating correct welding procedures
• Raise NCR if any non-compliance observed
• Ensure HSE requirements are all in place at all time and ensure compliance to HSE regulations and requirements
• Perform other activities as per instruction by Project Manager / QHSE Engineer.
• Do familiar with Structure,Mechanical,Piping and Blasting Inspection.
