Job summary

A leading technology firm based in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to prepare QA documents, support third-party inspections, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Material Engineering, at least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and strong communication and organizational skills. The role offers opportunities to work independently as well as part of a team, with NDE level 2 certification being a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma in Material Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in oil & gas.
  • Able to interpret drawings and technical documents.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizing and coordination skills.
  • NDE level 2 inspector is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Final QA documents and submissions in customer portals.
  • Generate issue notes for supplier activities and support third-party inspectors.
  • Maintain master list of instruments and establish calibration procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Documentation

Responsible for preparing Final QA documents and Submission in Customers portal.

Responsible for preparing the job routers.

Handling TPI and NDE activities

Generation of issue notes for supplier activities.

Handle and support third party inspectors

Handle and support NDE activities

Responsible for collection and verification of supplier’ NDE process reports

Calibration and Maintenance of instruments

Maintain master list for all the instruments under Quality department and production.

Regular calibration and maintenance procedures should be established to ensure continued accuracy and performance., periodically monitoring the calibration requirements

Communication

Effective communication is vital in this role. QA communicate quality-related issues to relevant departments, including production and to Quality Control.

Reports to assistant Manager

Safety

Ensuring the safety of the quality control team and compliance with safety protocols is another important aspect of the job.

Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Material Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 3 years of working experience related to the manufacturing environment, preferably from the oil & gas industry.
