Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a quality assurance specialist to ensure compliance with food safety standards and oversee quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in Food Science, a year of experience, and be proficient in English, with Mandarin preferred. Experience with FSSC Certification is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food products are produced in compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Oversee the entire quality assurance processes
• Conduct regular internal audits for the organization, manage external inspections and liaise with regulatory agencies for annual audits
• Ad-hoc duties with production and operations on a daily basis, e.g. maintenance and pest control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with new R&D product projects

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent
• At least 1 Year of working experience in the Food Manufacturing is required for this position
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to communicate in English. Mandarin is also preferred in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates from Export Markets
• Prior experience with FSSC Certification process will be preferred
