Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a fires Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that products and processes consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards elettron that this role plays a key part in inspection, documentation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement within a mechanical manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures in line with company and customer requirements
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Review and approve inspection reports, route cards, and quality records
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCR), corrective_callable actions (CAPA)
  • Perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support internal, customer, and supplier audits
  • Liaise with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and engineering drawings
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and GD & T
  • Hands‑on experience with inspection tools (e.g. vernier calipers, micrometers; CMM is an advantage)
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 / AS9100 (advantage)
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
Preferred / Advantageous Experience
  • Background in aerospace, precision engineering, or high‑mix manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, NDT, or customer‑specific quality requirements
  • Audit experience (internal, customer, or supplier audits)
