Job summary

A food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Executive to ensure production meets quality and hygiene standards. The role involves conducting inspections, managing sampling and testing procedures, and documenting compliance with food safety regulations. Candidates should have a secondary education and basic knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards, with prior experience in a related environment as an advantage.

Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Online Quality Monitoring
  • Perform start-up and changeover checks to ensure production lines meet quality and hygiene requirements before operation.
  • Conduct hygiene and GMP inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Carry out onsite checks every 2 hours to monitor OPRP and CCP parameters and ensure they are within acceptable limits.
2. Sampling & Testing
  • Manage flash out powder and product change activities, including the collection of flash out powder samples for laboratory testing, monitor the stock and request when the whey powder when stock low.
  • Perform raw material sampling for R&D laboratory analysis.
  • Conduct swab tests on equipment, environment, and workers’ hands to verify hygiene effectiveness.
3. Documentation & Record Keeping
  • Verify and accurately fill in production and quality records.
  • Ensure all inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions are properly documented.
  • Download and maintain data logger records on a weekly basis for monitoring and traceability purposes.
4. Non-Conformance Handling
  • Identify and handle non-conforming raw materials and finished goods.
  • Initiate and follow through with raw material and finished goods rejection and request replacement when required.
  • Report all quality deviations to the QC executive / QA executive and assist in investigation and corrective actions.
5. Compliance & Housekeeping
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, and company SOPs.
  • Support pest control and foreign object control measures where applicable.
6. Ad-hoc Duties

Perform any other quality-related tasks or duties as required by the superior or management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food manufacturing or quality control environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform routine inspections and practical sampling activities.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Able to work in production environment and working on 12 hours day and night shift.
