Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a QC Mechanical Technician to conduct visual and dimensional inspections of mechanical components. The candidate should possess at least an ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have 2-4 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include checking assemblies, ensuring compliance with specifications, and maintaining inspection records. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a salary of $2500 to $3000, plus overtime, AWS, and bonuses.

Job description

QC Mechanical Technician

Working days: Mon - Fri

Working hours: 8:15am - 5:30pm

Location: Joo Koon (Transport from Lakeside / CCK / Joo Koon MRT)

Salary: $2500 to $3000 + OT + AWS + Bonus

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, ball gauges, dial indicators, etc.
  • Conduct incoming inspection of motors, generators and mechanical parts
  • Inspect in-process and finished products for compliance with technical specifications.
  • Check assembly and fitting accuracy in mechanical disassembly and final assembly
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities to the Workshop Supervisor
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records and test data
  • Ensuring measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
  • Support process audits and assist in root cause analysis for quality issues
Requirements
  • ITE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience with a mechanical or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reporting
