Job summary

A leading procurement firm in Singapore is looking for a procurement specialist to manage purchase requisitions and supplier negotiations. Candidates should have a diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management and at least 1-2 years of experience. Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. The role offers a remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar industry.
  • Preferably has past experience in sourcing industrial products.
  • Sound understanding of incoterms and logistics.

  • Review of purchase requisition raised, and liaise with the relevant sales team members.
  • Sourcing competitive bids from qualified suppliers and negotiate with them over commercial and delivery terms.
  • Prepare commercial evaluation & make recommendation to the sales team based on the best value for money quotation.
  • Process order, follow up status.
  • Maintain accurate and complete procurement documentation records.
  • Liaise with vendors on item supplied, specifications and certifications (if required).
  • Prepares updated reports on activities, and other task assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering / Business administration / Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience or good track record working in similar industry.
  • Preferably having past working experiences in sourcing industrial products.
  • Confident and possess good negotiation skills.
  • Independent, discipline, able to handle high volume of PR efficiently, maintain high quality of work under competitive working environment.
  • Sound understanding of incoterms and logistic.
  • Preferably has ERP experiences but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Remuneration package is commensurate with qualification & experience.
