Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts, and issuing purchase orders.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
• Manage company facilities, logistics, and shipping operations for both local and international activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, ISO standards, and HSE requirements.
• Administer all company licensing, insurance renewals, and vehicle maintenance and registration.
• Resolve supplier disputes and address issues related to delivery, quality, or performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning and procurement requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and forecast future needs to ensure optimal stock.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of practical procurement experience, preferably within M&E, construction, engineering, facilities management, or manufacturing industries.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procurement projects concurrently.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of Singapore’s procurement regulations and industry best practices.
