A technology solutions firm in Singapore seeks an experienced ICT Manager to lead procurement and manage application services. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT, along with 6 years of related ICT experience and 3 years leading projects. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are essential, alongside relevant certifications. This role includes 24/7 support obligations for critical systems.
Lead and manage the procurement of ICT products and services, as well as management of vendor services and contracts, to ensure ICT governance and services are delivered on time, within budget and meets operation requirements • Lead and drive a team project managers and vendors in the effective delivery of ICT application services from project conceptualisation through to support maintenance and operation • Meeting compliance to tender requirement, policy and international standards to ensure that project / systems meets proper governance, financial and performance requirement • Manage and communicate with key holders on operational support daily • Identify operational gaps and drive to ensure closure, both internally and externally
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent • Minimum 6 years in relevant ICT experience and minimum 3 years in leading ICT application projects and managing project teams. • Full Time involvement in at least 1 x SDLC • Strong communication and presentation skill, excellent technical written and SDLC project documentation. • Project Planning, Analytical thinking and strong problem solving and project management skills • Self-motivate. Ability to work independently and a natural leader to set direction for team and project stakeholders • Experience in leading support team in troubleshooting application and / or infrastructure issues • Relevant ICT certification, CITPM, PMP • Ad hoc support for mission critical system, 24/7 Phone Standby, Night and weekend ICT activity such as support, and deployment is expected
