Job summary

A leading importer and distributor of construction products in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee renovation and installation projects from planning to completion. The ideal candidate has minimum 2 years of project management experience, strong knowledge of painting products, and can communicate effectively in English and Chinese. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, coordinating on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will oversee renovation and installation projects from planning to completion. Candidates with strong knowledge of painting products and painting processes is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate painting projects from start to finish
• Oversee daily on-site activities and ensure smooth workflow
• Plan project schedules, manpower allocation, and assist logistic team for smooth workflow
• Ensure correct application and handling of painting products and materials
• Conduct regular site and quality inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
• Resolve on-site issues promptly and provide timely updates to stakeholders
• Liaise with designers, painter team, suppliers, clients, and internal teams
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and handover requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, site coordination, or related renovation/construction roles
• Strong knowledge of painting products, tools, and painting processes
• Able to read and understand site drawings and technical specifications
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
• Responsible, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (to communicate with English- and Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers, and subcontractors)
