Job Description

THE ROLE: Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a key role in driving Kaplan Singapore's digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives. This position oversees end-to-end project delivery across business systems, data, and AI-driven solutions — ensuring alignment with Kaplan's strategic priorities in student experience, operational efficiency, and innovation. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams across Admissions, Student Services, Marketing, and IT to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on governance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure stages.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and communication strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication, collaboration, and timely delivery of milestones.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and post-project reviews for senior management.
  • Foster continuous improvement by applying lessons learned and refining project management methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, quality, and security standards throughout project execution.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree or PMP/CBAP/PRINCE2 certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project management, ideally in a complex or cross-functional environment.
  • Proven track record in managing medium to large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or equivalent.
  • Desired but not required: Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) solutions.
  • Desired but not required: Experience in Salesforce and other Enterprise CRM platforms (e.g., Education Cloud, Service Cloud).
  • Desired but not required: Familiarity with Data Lakehouse environments (e.g., Databricks, AWS).
