Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the execution of large-scale, complex projects within the country.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all appointed M&E subcontractors to ensure successful project implementation.
- Maintain close communication with customers and building management regarding all on-site activities.
- Collaborate proactively with internal teams to ensure timely equipment delivery, and take ownership of installation, testing, commissioning schedules, and associated tasks.
- Monitor and control the quality of M&E service drawings from subcontractors through an organized drafting system.
- Provide timely weekly progress updates to the sales and management teams.
- Conduct individual team review meetings for turnkey and large-scale projects, documenting minutes and reviewing them with the Project Manager.
- Submit monthly sales forecasts for assigned projects and collaborate with the Project Manager to align with projected sales targets.
- Coordinate with procurement and perform quality audits on subcontractors to ensure installation standards are met.
- Partner with the project administrator to deliver timely financial forecasts, project closure documentation, and project margin analyses.
- Act as a senior role model within the project team by promoting discipline, enhancing team morale, supporting a collaborative work environment, and mentoring junior Project Engineers when needed.
- Take full responsibility for preparing accurate project cost estimates and ensuring overall project profitability.
Experience Required
- Degree in M&E Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years site M&E experience preferable in the Data Centre site preparation environment would be favorable.
- Experience in budgeting, planning, control & managing resources.
- Experience in presenting to project stakeholders.
- Well-versed in the Microsoft Office, Project & Autocad software.
