About Keyrus and the Role

Keyrus is a global consulting firm specializing in Data and Digital transformation. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Data Management Implementation Project for a major international bank in Singapore. This project is focused on achieving and maintaining compliance with BCBS 239 principles and enhanced data governance standards for local regulatory reporting, as mandated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of the Data Management Implementation Project, ensuring the established plan is fully executed.
  • Develop and maintain the detailed project plan, including a robust roadmap, clear milestones, a RACI matrix, and key performance indicators (KPIs, KRIs, KSIs) with a formal monthly dashboard.
  • Manage project governance, including orchestrating weekly project status meetings and monthly steering committees.
  • Ensure that all local data management standards align with the bank's global BCBS 239 Adherence Program and meet expectations for Group Reporting.
• Governance & Control Implementation
  • Development and presentation of an APAC Senior Management Dashboard for data quality and governance.
  • Define and implement a comprehensive local control plan with verifiable checkpoints, aligning with the bank's central control libraries.
  • Oversee the successful delivery and operationalization of required MAS standards across the Singapore Branch and relevant APAC functions.
• Change Management & Reporting
  • Support organizational change management by defining RACI roles, creating necessary training packs, and conducting Q&A sessions.
  • Provide timely and accurate project reporting, including monthly status reports on developments and service completion to both Keyrus and client management.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in Project Management within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Good knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and their practical implementation.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing data governance frameworks, Data Quality, and Data Lineage initiatives.
• Familiarity with the regulatory landscape in Singapore, specifically MAS requirements and supervisory expectations for Data Governance and BCBS 239.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and report effectively to Senior Management.
