Job summary

A leading waterproofing company in Singapore is looking for an experienced Project Manager. You will manage waterproofing projects ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence. Key responsibilities include leading project teams, maintaining client communications, overseeing safety compliance, and managing project documentation. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of project management experience in the construction industry. Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee all phases of waterproofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure all waterproofing work meets industry standards and project specifications.
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and company safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and provide financial reports to senior management, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the waterproofing or construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Project Management certification is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of waterproofing systems, materials, and application techniques, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams, with strong interpersonal skills to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making decisions quickly and effectively in challenging situations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
