Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced professional to oversee project planning, manage MEP design, and ensure timely delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong project management and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant Singapore-based working experience in building construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• QP/PE, Green Mark manager or other BCA/SCDF/PUB authority certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning and execution within time and budget.
• Manage in-house MEP design works including detailed design and BIM coordination.

Job Description

• Oversee project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Employer expectation,
• Analyse, manage and track project costs again budget.
• Manage in-house MEP design works, including basic design, detailed design, shop drawing and BIM coordination.
• Coordinate with architecture, C&S and Process, ICA and other trades.
• Attend technical and site coordinate meetings with Employer, Consultants, Main Contractor and other contractors.
• Assess and resolve any technical or site issues related to M&E works with Consultants and Employer.
• Oversee construction activities by In-house installation teams, site safety, arrange timely delivery of M&E equipment and materials.
• Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC,
• Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&M to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards and safety aspects.
• Participate in tender preparation for new projects

Requirements

• Min Diploma Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with Building Service M&E background
• Min 8 years of relevant Singapore-based working experience in building construction industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
