Job summary

A leading security systems firm in Singapore is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the implementation and management of various security systems projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery within project budgets, and conducting customer training on security systems. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering or IT, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in project management and communication skills is essential.

  • Manage assigned projects in security systems like CCTV and access control.

Job description
  • Responsible for the management of assigned projects in security systems such as CCTV Surveillance System, Intrusion Detection System, Electronics Access Control System, Audio/Video Intercom System, etc.
  • Responsible for the implementation of installation, testing and commissioning of the security systems as per customer requirements within budget and delivery schedule commitments.
  • Attend site meetings to monitor status of projects.
  • To liaise with Architects, Consultants, Main Contractors, Interior Designers, etc to provide accurate feedback on the progress of works, technical compliance to specifications and variation claims.
  • Procurement of materials and delivery to site in a timely manner in accordance to site progress and within project’s budget.
  • Conduct detailed training to customers on the operational use of the installed, security systems.
  • Ensure subcontractors on-site perform the work in accordance with the approved drawings and instructions as appropriate.
  • Ensure shop drawings, floor plan drawings and single line diagrams are correctly updated for each project before handing over to Maintenance Department.
  • Respond to and manage customer feedback/complaints and take corrective/preventive action.
  • Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on progress reports, forecasts, technical problems encountered, etc.
Experiences & Skills
  • Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, IT Computer Science / networking related or related fields with 2 years of working experience
  • Excellent project and people management skills.
  • Hands-on project execution and management experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good working knowledge on IP data networks
