Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Project Engineer to manage the installation of production and office projects. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and preparing project reports. Responsibilities

  • Support new construction and installation of projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors on-site for compliance.
  • Prepare and update site reports and monitor project progress.

  • Perform project cost estimation and evaluations.

Job description
  • Support all the new construction/installation of production and office expansion project and actively involved in all the design work and specification before finalisation or design freeze.
  • Work closely with Industrial Engineering and end users to define project intention and translate the intention into installed system to meet the its function and performance
  • Coordinate for any new tools and utilities hook up or tools relocation activities
  • Responsible for coordinating and supervising subcontractors works on site to ensure compliance to internal Safety guidelines and jobs specification
  • Ensure timely completion, safety and quality standards of project works
  • Prepare and update all site reports and closely monitor the progress of the project including submission of weekly report
  • Liaise with contractors to define the scope of work, work methods, technical specifications of the services.
  • Perform project cost estimation, participating in technical/engineering evaluation of all bidding packages with Purchasing
  • After completion of project, responsible to ensure all payments are regularized, projects are buy-off according to procedures. Project closure documentation are obtained like O&M manual, as built drawings, T&C records, all regulatory certificate, Spare part listing and contractor/vendor listing
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor
