Job summary

A leading civil engineering company is looking for a Project Manager to assist in daily contract management, advise on quality and safety issues, and supervise the installation of instrumentation in Singapore. Candidates should possess a degree in Civil & Structural Engineering and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in project management software is required.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project/construction environment.
• Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work.
• Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.

Job description

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/Senior Project Manager (SPM)/Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on-site quality and safety issues
• Determine any non-conformances on works
• Liaise with the Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure that decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
• Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggests quality improvement measures for implementation on site
• Supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Civil & Structural engineering
• Min 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project/construction environment

• Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.
