Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a Project Engineer to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Civil Engineering and around 4 years of relevant work experience. Responsibilities include planning and supervising work at the project site, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating with consultants. This permanent role offers a salary package up to $6,000, with working hours from Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Around 4 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering.
• Good knowledge of main contract works including reinforced concrete.
• Experience in Civil/Construction/Structural Engineering is an advantage.

• Working Hours: 6 days (Monday – Saturday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $6,000 + VB
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor work progress at the project site.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with safety standards and client requirements.
• Attend site meetings on behalf of the company and carry out site measurements as needed.
• Review project specifications, technical clarifications, and construction drawings.
• Prepare, manage, and submit all required project documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to support smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with around 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of main contract works, including reinforced concrete, structural steel, architectural, M&E, and related trades.
• Detail-oriented, with strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Experience in Civil/Construction/Structural Engineering or similar field is an advantage.
• This position will take on project management responsibilities.
