Project Engineer (Oil & Gas / Piping Works – Site Based)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Project Engineer to support and manage oil & gas piping and equipment installation works at Jurong Island and Tuas project sites. This role is fully site‑based and requires strong practical experience, the ability to work in hot outdoor environments, and close coordination with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate piping and equipment installation works on site
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Prepare, review, and update CAD drawings, including shop drawings and as‑built drawings
• Monitor site progress, quality, and safety in compliance with project specifications and HSE requirements
• Handle site technical issues and provide immediate solutions
• Prepare method statements, inspection checklists, progress reports, and daily site records
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and toolbox meetings
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years and above experience in oil & gas piping and equipment works
• Strong hands‑on site experience is required
• Proficient in AutoCAD / CAD drawings
• Good understanding of piping fabrication, installation, and site coordination
• Able to work fully on‑site at Jurong Island and Tuas
• Comfortable working in hot weather and physically demanding site conditions
• Self‑motivated, responsible, and able to work extended hours when required

Working Location

• Jurong Island & Tuas (Fully Site‑Based)

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: As and when required by project

Salary Range

• SGD $3,000 – $5,000 (commensurate with experience)
