Job summary

A leading air conditioning company in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage ACMV installation projects. Responsibilities include overseeing site works, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing necessary documentation. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, with prior experience in ACMV/M&E projects preferred but fresh graduates are welcome. Skills in AutoCAD and solid communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee ACMV installation works at project sites.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Supervise site works to ensure quality, safety, and workmanship standards.
• Maintain proper project documentation and records.

Skills

Knowledge of air-conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, chilled water, split units)

Able to read and interpret technical drawings

Good coordination and communication skills

Familiar with Singapore construction regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD

Education

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination & Execution

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee ACMV installation works at project sites
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and sub-contractors
• Attend site meetings and technical discussions

2. Technical & Engineering Support

• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
• Provide technical support and resolve site technical issues
• Ensure compliance with BCA, NEA, and relevant authorities’ requirements
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of ACMV systems

3. Site Supervision & Quality Control

• Supervise site works to ensure quality, safety, and workmanship standards
• Conduct site inspections and rectify defects
• Monitor work progress and report to Project Manager
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations and company safety policies

4. Scheduling & Cost Control

• Monitor project progress against project schedule
• Coordinate manpower and materials planning
• Assist in variation orders, progress claims, and cost control

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper project documentation and records
• Prepare daily / weekly progress reports
• Assist in project close-out documentation
