Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a candidate for freight forwarding operations. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day logistics, updating shipment manifests, preparing permits, and liaising with airlines and customs brokers. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of GCE 'O' Level/ Certificate in Logistics Management and at least one year of relevant experience. Knowledge of permit declaration and a positive, independent attitude are essential. Willingness to work long hours and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level/ Certificate in Logistics Management with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of permit declaration with Tradenet/Tradeweb.
  • Experience in the exhibition industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in day‑to‑day matters with respect to freight forwarding operations.
  • Update Master manifest on shipment specifications.
  • Prepare and process permits for shipments.

  • Update Master manifest on shipment specifications and movement timely.
  • Prepare and process permits for all inbound/ outbound shipments.
  • Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, co‑loaders, NVOs, overseas agents, customs brokers for timely and accurate execution of shipping instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulation for all shipments.
  • Maintain proper filing of shipping documents and receipts needed for invoicing.
  • Assist in operations & logistics planning.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level/ Certificate in Logistics Management with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in logistics/shipping industry.
  • Knowledge of permit declaration with Tradenet/Tradeweb.
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and under work‑pressure.
  • Must have initiative, positive attitude and able to work independently.
  • Experience in exhibition industry is preferred.
  • Willing to work long hours and weekend.
