A leading community service organization in Singapore is seeking a Programme Executive to facilitate outreach and engagement programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Programme Executive (Outreach and Engagement) works with their assigned centres to execute programmes to facilitate the interactions and engagement between the community and the clients/caregivers. He/ she works with the community partners and volunteers for these outreach and engagement programmes and guides the centre and volunteers in executing the programme activities. He/she also collaborates and establishes relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations, and community partners to fulfil MINDS' vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the ID population in Singapore through the centre's operations. The Programme Executive is responsible for the planning, designing, coordination of activities and programmes promote the active participation, meaningful engagement and learning of clients from the Centre with the community partners and volunteers. He/ she will work in close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Allied Health Professionals such as the Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, physiotherapist, and/ or Speech Language Therapist, and Training Officers when designing the programmes.These programmes can be at the centre or outside of the centres.
The Programme Executive should have great communication, time management & problem-solving skills. They should be able to work well both independently & in a team with integrity, sensitivity, knowledge and drive to support & advocate for their clients with intellectual disability.
