We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to provide high-quality day-to-day production support for Java / web-based applications supporting Product and Market Risk systems. The role involves close collaboration with infrastructure, development, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure stable and reliable application operations in a 24x7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day production support for Java and web-based applications
  • Monitor application health and respond to production issues in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Perform incident investigation, root cause analysis, and impact analysis in a structured manner
  • Coordinate and support infrastructure maintenance activities
  • Manage and support application release implementations, following best practices in release and change management
  • Work closely with peer application teams, infrastructure, vendors, security, and change management teams to ensure seamless support
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Continuously enhance and improve support processes to maintain and improve service quality
  • Provide timely communication to stakeholders during incidents and service disruptions
Skills and Experience Required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Application Support / Production Support environment
