Job description

Job Descriptions:

• Adhere to electrical codes and standards for electrical safety of machinery
• Implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure machinery safety compliance
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic, and electrical BOMs
• Collaborate with Production control, warehouse team, technicians, and line supervisors to plan wiring routes and installation sequencing
• Connect and commission CNC drives, servo motors, spindle drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and CNC controllers
• Diagnose electrical faults using multi-meters, insulation testers, meggers, and oscilloscope tools
• Install, route, and terminate electrical cables, conduits, and wiring for CNC machines, control panels, robotics, and automation equipment
• Integrate sensors, encoders, safety devices, interlocks, and safety PLCs (SIL/PL safety requirements)
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and electrical diagrams
• Maintain inventory of electrical components and tools
• Mount and wire electrical enclosures, terminal blocks, relays, contactors, fuses, and controllers
• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, calibration, and replacement of worn components
• Troubleshoot intermittent issues on production lines to minimize downtime
• Any other duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field (apprenticeship completion preferred)
• Knowledge of machine safety standards and electrical cabinet design
• Proficiency with PLCs, CNC controls, servo drives, and electrical schematics
