Role Overview
The Product Strategy Analyst (Manager) role involves both analytical and strategic thinking, while supporting CPO / PMs on roadmap decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1) Product Strategy & Roadmap Support
- Conduct strategic analyses to support product roadmap prioritization
- Identify growth opportunities, product gaps, and competitive insights
- Evaluate new product initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations
- Partner with CPO and PMs to refine product direction and goals
2) Data-Driven Insight & Decision Support
- Analyze product usage data, user behaviours, funnels, and retention trends
- Build, maintain, and own KPI dashboards & product performance reports
- Develop analytical frameworks for decision-making (e.g., LTV, CAC, ROI models)
- Monitor leading and lagging indicators to surface actionable insights
3) Experimentation & Evaluation
- Design and evaluate A / B tests and product experiments
- Define experiment success metrics and interpretation methodology
- Recommend iteration or rollout decisions based on experiment results
4) Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Data, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams
- Translate business and product needs into analytical solutions
- Present insights to senior stakeholders and influence product decisions
5) Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research and benchmark against industry players
- Track emerging product trends, technologies, and market shifts
- Prepare competitive analysis reports for leadership
6) Strategic Projects / Special Initiatives
- Support high-impact strategic projects initiated by leadership
- Build business cases and models for new products or strategic partnerships
- Assist in planning and execution of quarterly and annual product cycles (OKRs planning, roadmap reviews)
7) Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Prepare exec-ready insights, presentations, and business reviews
- Communicate complex data and strategy narratives clearly and persuasively
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to drive alignment and decisions
8) Leadership & Development (Manager Scope)
- Mentor junior analysts / interns
- Establish product analytics best practices and frameworks
- Drive adoption of data-driven culture across product teams
