Proficiency in both Japanese and English is essential, facilitating communication with R&D departments in Japan.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: MLCC production
Reports to: Manager

Functional relationships:

• MLCC related R&D in Japan
• MLCC Material Engineering in Japan R&D Division
• MLCC Product Engineering in Japan Development Division

POSITION PROFILE

• This position is to propel development for MLCC products & new process in terms of quality, efficiency and manufacturing cost with highly specialized process & product knowledge.
• To give technical training for MLCC products, material & process to the engineers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• To develop new MLCC products based on customer’s request.
• To propel quality improvement and cost reduction of MLCC products.
• To develop and improve MLC manufacturing post-process efficiency.
• To transfer new technologies from Japan factories.
• To be a bridge between Japan related R&D department to get necessary information timely and implement into MES factory.
• To grasp new technology and make new MLCC product proposals & development in quality, cost, efficiency and safety.
• To organize and provide technical training to local engineers.

Ability/Competency required

• To hold bachelor’s degree or master's degree in engineering or science field.
• At least 7 years of working experience in electronics manufacturing industry.
• To have deep & specialized technical knowledge in MLCC Products, Material, and process and to be able to fully utilize it in actual job for development & improvement.
• To have business fluent Japanese and English language skills to liaise with Japan R&D departments, and local staff in MES factory.
• To have logical thinking, analytical skill and good engineering sense.
• To have strong mind-set for change and improvement.
• To have proactive attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• To have networking ability with MLCC related functions.
