A leading company in the HVAC industry is seeking a candidate to analyze end users and market demands while developing product strategies. Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, with a strong analytical approach and communication skills. Experience in the air-conditioning industry is a plus. This position involves coordinating market research, tracking sales performance, and strategizing new product positioning within the lineup.
Analyze end users and market demands
Perform product and competitors' analyses
Perform and coordinate market research with going overseas market if needed
Consolidate product request from all SBUs to strategize new product roadmap with the positioning with current product lineup (anti-cannibalisation)
Follow up on progress of R&D on new product request
Preparation and consideration of sales promotion and marketing material/tool for new products
Conduct sales target setting and estimate the new product sales contribution against the development investment
Sales performance tracking for new products
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or relevant
Experience in air-conditioning industry will be an advantage
Analytical and objective approach towards assessing product request, planning and strategy
Good knowledge of economics and current market trends
Ability to develop product strategies with logical approach
Proactive and influential personality with ability to persuade and drive decisions
Effective verbal and written communication skills
