A prominent company in the FMCG food sector is seeking a strategic Product Marketing Specialist to enhance product offerings and drive market success. The successful candidate will lead product development and launch activities, develop effective marketing strategies, and manage brand positioning. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in product marketing within the FMCG industry. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Procurement and Export to develop new products, as well as manage existing product innovations that meet consumer needs and market demands.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer needs, trends and competitive insights, and utilize findings to inform product development and positioning.
Manage end-to-end product development process from concept ideation to launch, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
Lead product launch activities, including developing marketing plans, creating compelling messaging and positioning, and coordinating launch events and promotions.
Work closely with Design and Sales team to develop sales collateral, presentations and training materials to support product launches and ongoing sales efforts.
Possess a deep understanding of the product portfolio, including product features, benefits and positioning in the market.
Manage the branding and positioning of the products, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall brand strategy and messaging.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and foster brand loyalty among consumers.
Monitor and analyze product performance, sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Responsible for monitoring and collating of competitive activities, analysis and interpretation of market information.
Other duties assigned in relation to the business.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in product marketing roles within the FMCG food industry, with a track record in developing and managing products.
Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics and competitive landscape in the FMCG food industry.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
