Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement organization for Singapore OEM and Malaysia operations, providing coaching, direction, and escalation support to ensure effective execution and team development.
- Drive procurement KPI performance, including on-time delivery (OTD), delinquency, push/pull/cancel actions, late release, and purchase price variance (PPV), aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver competitive advantage, including supplier selection, development, consolidation, and implementation of strategic supplier initiatives.
- Lead Global Purchase Family or Regional Commodity sourcing activities, with full accountability for sourcing decisions, material deflation targets, and alignment with global and regional strategies.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance expectations are met across cost, quality, delivery, and risk; lead corrective action and supplier improvement initiatives as required.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve quality, fulfillment, productivity, and cost objectives while managing contractual and commercial risk.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, services, and supplies necessary to support manufacturing and operational requirements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards.
- Analyze market conditions, cost drivers, supplier capabilities, and pricing trends to inform sourcing decisions and negotiation strategies.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations to support supplier qualification, NPI activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and review bid packages, and coach procurement team members on sourcing strategies, negotiations, and supplier engagement as needed.
- Support cross-functional and business initiatives as assigned, including special projects aligned with supply chain and operational excellence goals.

Qualifications:
- Five to ten years of related Supply Chain Management experience in engineer-to-order manufacturing, OEM or aerospace environment.
- Demonstrated career progression with increasing leadership responsibility within manufacturing or regulated industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of production and inventory flows, materials management principles, and related documentation processes.
- Proven business and financial acumen with the ability to set direction, lead teams, and drive performance through influence, change leadership, and accountability.
- Effective leadership capability with a global perspective and a solid understanding of factors impacting the aerospace industry and supplier landscape. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work, plan workflows, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in appropriate Business or Technical discipline is required.
- APICS/ISM/Supply Chain certification is a plus.
