Procurement Executive (Scrap Management)

Oversee the end-to-end process of scrap material disposal across all company sites.

Work in coordination with operations and warehouse teams.

Ensure environmentally responsible and compliant disposal practices.

Value Recovery
  • Identify and engage with certified scrap buyers and recyclers.
  • Conduct bid analysis to determine optimal pricing and timing for scrap sales.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize financial returns from scrap.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of scrap transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare reports on scrap sales, trends, and value recovery metrics.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and logistics.
  • Support internal audits.
Job Requirements
  • Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Process/Marine Offshore/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
  • 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of scrap material markets and recycling regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Marine Offshore or Heavy Industries is an added advantage.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:15pm
