Job summary

A procurement company in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented candidate for procurement tasks. Responsibilities include preparing and tracking purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and monitoring stock levels. Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders for FMCG products, packaging, and warehouse supplies.
  • Liaise with suppliers for quotations, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely warehouse inbound.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight low/out-of-stock risks; support replenishment planning.
  • Collect and compare supplier quotations; assist in basic cost analysis.
  • Maintain procurement records, price lists, supplier info, and update ERP/WMS data.
  • Work with QA and warehouse teams on quality issues, wrong/damaged deliveries, and supplier returns.
  • Prepare simple weekly procurement and PO status reports.
  • Support Procurement Executive/Manager in daily tasks and cross-functional coordination.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent. Candidates with strong experience may be considered.
  • 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience preferred.
  • Experience in FMCG, grocery, warehouse operations, or distribution is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data handling.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and strong in follow-up.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
