Responsibilities

• Researching and identifying potential suppliers for a variety of goods and services
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries and resolving any issues
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, delivery times and other favourable terms
• Maintaining up-to-date records of supplier contracts, pricing and performance
• Collaborating with our logistics team to ensure seamless supply chain operations
• Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and drive cost savings
• Providing administrative support to the procurement function as required

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field preferred
• At least 2 - 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably from civil engineering or construction-related industry
