A leading company in synthetic rubber is seeking a Process Engineer to enhance process safety, product quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering and experience in the petrochemical industry, focusing on process improvement projects and compliance with management systems. This role offers opportunities to lead capital expenditure projects and implement Industry 4.0 technologies.
1. Drive process improvement ideas with the objectives to improve process safety, improve product quality, reduce energy consumption, improve production rates and reduce costs.
2. Coordinate, arrange and plan new grade trial run with R&D and Operation team, and handle the trial run and the evaluation.
3. Troubleshoot plant trouble related to process, perform root cause analysis and propose corrective and preventive measures measures as process engineering function and/or based on request basis
4. Participate actively in HAZOP,FMEA and Control plan studies as Process engineering function for safety and quality improvement.
5. Oversee Process related capital expenditures project from conceptual design up to Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Lead the project assigned by (assistant) manager of department.
6. Study and implement Industry 4.0 related technologies as part of Productivity Improvements Projects
7. Collaborates with other departments in Management systems of AKSS such as ISO9001,ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, Safety Case regime, Energy management system and ISCC plus as process engineering function
1. A Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
2. 3 year(s) of working experience in Petrochemical Industries (Preferred). For Senior position, at least 5 year(s) working experience in Petrochemical Industries.
3. Familiarity with Process Simulation software such as Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS is a plus.
4. Familiarity with Distributed Control System (DCS), in particular its logic and
sequence modification is a plus
5. Able to multi-task and handle a wide spectrum of responsibilities.
