Key Responsibilities

• Lead research, sourcing and due diligence on global alternative investments
• Produce and present investment memos, valuation reports and recommendations for Investment Manager review
• Evaluate portfolio construction, risk exposures, and diversification at fund and portfolio levels
• Assess and integrate ESG and impact investing considerations into manager selection and monitoring
• Review term sheets and legal documentation
• Manage and monitor existing fund investments, including performance analysis, capital calls, distributions, and impact reporting
• Conduct market, peer, and strategy research across private market segments

To excel in this role, you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in private markets global institutional allocators
• Possess direct private investment experience coupled with experience allocating to private fund managers
• Strong background in private market fund manager selection and co-investments
• Proven experience in impact investment strategy and ESG integration
• Fluency in English and at least one additional Southeast Asian language (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Malay); professional working proficiency required
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required, working/ living in diverse cultures/settings is a benefit, as we focus on an international investment programme
• Postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, CA or a Master’s degree will be highly regarded
