Responsibilities
- Act as the technical subject matter expert across core software engineering domains, including solution and software architecture, front-end, back-end, DevOps, QA/testing, and data management.
- Shape the long‑term technical vision, defining technology roadmaps that enable scalable project and product delivery.
- Lead end‑to‑end technical design, ensuring in‑house built systems and components align with architectural principles, internal standards, security, and performance requirements.
- Establish engineering best practices and standards to guide teams in building secure, resilient, maintainable, and high‑quality software.
- Drive modern technology evaluation and adoption, recommending frameworks, tools and libraries to strengthen the common tech stack and accelerate development efficiency.
- Own delivery and development strategies, ensuring the overall system architecture supports seamless integration within the broader ecosystem.
- Provide technical governance, reviewing implementations for feasibility, optimization, architectural integrity, and delivery excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and cross‑functional stakeholders to solve complex engineering challenges across multiple product teams.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level engineers, elevating technical capability and fostering career growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years in senior technical leadership roles (e.g., Solution Architect, Software Architect, QA Lead, Data Management Lead, or equivalent).
- Strong track record of delivering large‑scale, in‑house developed software products, including multi‑site deployments and distributed environments.
- Deep specialization in at least one technical domain (front‑end, back‑end, QA/testing, data systems, or DevOps) combined with broad architectural expertise.
- Experience leading cross‑functional engineering initiatives, driving standards, technical problem‑solving, and delivery alignment across teams.
- Proven ability in technical coaching, documentation and engineering excellence leadership.
- Analytical, self‑driven, and detail‑oriented, with strong communication and system‑thinking skills.
