Principal Engineer, Software (2‑Year Contract) - 3 Headcounts

Salary: Up to SGD 13,000/month
Location: One‑North MRT
Hours: Mon–Thu 8.30am–6.00pm | Fri 8.30am–5.30pm

What You’ll Do

• Act as the technical expert (SME) across software architecture, front‑end and back‑end development
• Define technical direction and technology roadmap to support product and project delivery
• Lead solution and software design, ensuring alignment with engineering standards
• Set and promote engineering best practices for building secure, scalable, and reliable systems
• Recommend modern technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve delivery speed and quality
• Review technical designs and implementations to ensure quality, feasibility, and performance
• Work closely with product managers and cross‑functional teams on complex engineering challenges
• Mentor and coach engineers, supporting technical growth and development

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years of software engineering experience
• 8+ years in a senior technical or architecture role (e.g. Software Architect, Solution Architect, Engineering Lead)
• Experience delivering large‑scale, in‑house developed software systems
• Strong expertise in at least one area (front‑end, back‑end, data, QA/testing, or DevOps)
• Proven experience working with cross‑functional teams
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Self‑driven team player with attention to detail
