Qualifications

Primary Jewish Education Teacher - Delivering the formal and informal Jewish education curriculum in accordance with the school timetable (August 2026 - Singapore).

This is the only not for profit Jewish Primary and Secondary School in SouthEast Asia inclusive of a kindergarten and nursery, and the only International School in Singapore that began as an offshoot of grass roots community efforts. Reflecting the cultural diversity of Singapore, this is an internationally diverse community welcoming staff and students from around the globe. Families from all faiths are welcomed and the school is in a unique position to promote interfaith dialogue and cultural understanding. This school delivers a truly holistic education to its students allowing all children to grow into fully rounded, socially responsible individuals with a love of lifelong learning. Teachers do not need to follow the Jewish faith - simply be sympathetic to all faith's followed in the school.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree or equivalent in specialist subject or a related subject
  • A proven track record of outstanding teaching
  • 5 years’ teaching experience preferred however candidates with 2-4 years post qualifying experience may be considered
  • Experience and familiarity with International Education is desirable
  • Experience of teaching IMYC/IGCSE would be an advantage
  • Evidence of experience teaching formal and informal Jewish education at various Grade levels
  • Good level of written and spoken Hebrew would be an advantage
