Job Title: Presales Consultant IV, Marine APAC

Reporting to: VP Presales APAC

Location: S. Korea

Employment type: Regular, full‑time, Hybrid work arrangement

The job

The Presales Consultant IV's primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership to sales account managers throughout the entire sales cycle in relation to Marine software sales. Responsibilities include developing opportunities with sales and marketing, attending internal and external meetings and providing ideas and opinions to achieve meeting goals, giving technical presentations and demos, preparing architecture or technical write‑ups for proposal work, and delivering product or solution training to internal teams and external customers.

Main responsibilities
  • Enable sales growth through the AVEVA by driving revenue by qualifying leads in Marine related OPPs
  • Communicating the value proposition of our solutions to prospects or partners, at presentations, industry events, and seminars
  • Contributing to the planning, creation, development, and delivery of demonstrations that prove the value of our solutions
  • Engaging prospects to understand their specific needs and problems, and contributing to the development of appropriate technical solutions
  • Understand the AVEVA portfolio and how to position it
  • Support proof of concepts and pilots
  • Contribute to the definition of standardization
  • Obtain and maintain the customer’s confidence and respect as the technical solution expert
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related major
  • Typically more than 12 to 15 years of experience with Marine Industry experience and/or AVEVA software products, and 3-5 years of experience in Technical Sales, Presales or Business Development
  • Significant practical experience of the implementation of AVEVA solutions with customers
  • The ability to effectively self‑manage and handle multiple, potentially competing commitments at the same time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work alone or with development staff to hands‑on develop and present demo applications
Preferred Skills & Collaboration
  • Develop good working relationships with clients and always provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism
  • Work with the Sales team in identifying opportunities, providing support at all levels of engagement, and ensuring the proposed solutions are feasible and in line with AVEVA’s strategic objectives
  • Work within a dynamic team and show flexibility in the use and development of personal and technical skills to maximize the team’s efficiency
  • Extensive experience providing IT infrastructure support to large user groups that require high‑performance connectivity and availability
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior employees
