Job summary

A leading afterlife services provider in Singapore is seeking a Sales Specialist to market columbarium niches to families. Responsibilities include developing sales channels, responding to enquiries, and showing prospective customers the niches in a respectful manner. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the funerary industry, and must be able to work on weekends. A passion for helping families during difficult times is vital.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in sales, preferably in columbarium niches or funeral industry.
• Knowledge of religious, cultural, customs, and burial practices is an advantage.
• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop channels for the sales & marketing of columbarium niches.
• Attend to enquiries for niches via phone calls, website, and social media.
• Ensure all sold and reserved niches are recorded in the booking system.
• Conduct respectful showings of niches to prospects.

We are looking for new talent to join us to provide families a comforting experience for this journey. Experience is not critical but a passion to serve and help others is vital.

We are currently looking for experienced funerary industry specialists to join our team.

The Role

The role is to market columbarium niches to families to store the cremated remains of their loved ones and develop channels for the sales of these niches through collaboration with industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop channels for the sales & marketing of columbarium niches
• Attend to enquiries for niches from sources such as phone calls, website and social media
• Respond to booking of niches from industry partners in a prompt manner
• Show prospects to the niches in a respectful manner
• Ensure that all sold and reserved niches are recorded in the booking system

Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years’ experience in the sales, preferable in columbarium niches or funeral industry
• Advantage with Industry Knowledge of Religious, Cultural, Customs and Burial practices
• Independent self-starter with strong problem solving, marketing and organising skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal/external parties
• Conversant with basic computer software
• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
• Any other duties, as assigned
