Overview
As a Portfolio Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing your assigned client portfolio to achieve and exceed annual sales targets and key performance indicators. You’ll play a key role in cross-selling a full suite of banking products while participating in strategic sales campaigns throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- The full range of client solutions including cash management, loans, trade finance, investments, insurance, and hedging tools.
- How to recommend and position appropriate products to enhance client engagement with the bank.
- Portfolio management strategies that deepen client relationships through proactive engagement and tailored financial solutions.
- Actively engage portfolio clients to cross-sell bank offerings such as operating accounts, deposits, wealth solutions (e.g. insurance, FX, investments), digital platform (Straight2Bank) activations, and loan products (e.g. Business Instalment Loans, Property Loans).
- Drive participation in ongoing sales campaigns to strengthen client outreach and business acquisition.
- Conduct periodic reviews of existing accounts to ensure relevance of financial solutions.
- Deliver portfolio revenue growth by:
- Driving Net Interest Income through CASA and quality time deposits.
- Increasing Net Fee Income via transaction activities.
- Generating wealth revenue through bancassurance and investment solutions.
- Proactively manage account activities (e.g. AUM tracking, TD maturities) to drive consistent growth in CASA and time deposits.
- Conduct high-quality client engagements focused on cross-selling new products such as Business Instalment Loans, Working Capital Loans, Mortgages, Trade Working Capital, Wealth, Bancassurance, and tailored cash solutions.
- Maintain a professional standard free from customer complaints or regulatory violations.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in a direct B2B or B2C sales role.
- Comfortable and effective in a telesales-driven environment.
- Familiarity with customer due diligence procedures, including compliance with FATCA regulations.
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape to effectively position the bank’s products.
- Proficient in identifying customer needs and applying strategic tools and techniques to generate additional sales opportunities.
