Our Client is a Japanese Trading company dealing with Plastic Resin and Raw Materials. They are currently looking for a Plastics Salesman -Leader/Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Market and take action aggressively and spontaneously to create new business
- Maintain relationship with current customers to handle daily tasks efficiently
- Control the trading material stock inventory
- Attend to customer enquiry and provide sales services to customer
- Prepare quotation and liaise with customer on pricing matter
- Follow up with customer on payment issue
- Source for suitable supplier for purchase of trading material
- Evaluate supplier performance to ensure purchased products meet the customer requirement
- Check purchase orders for trade term, payment term, price and lead time
- Follow up with customer on any issues including customer complaints
- Take proactive actions to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements
MUST
- Minimum a Degree in any field
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant sales experience in commodity and engineering plastics
- Strong understanding of plastic distribution business models
- Solid technical knowledge and established network within the plastics industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Mandarin for effective business interaction with English and Mandarin stakeholders
- Strong analytical ability and able to work independently
- Willing to travel to Batam and Johor Bahru to support existing customers initially, and to other developing countries in line with future business expansion
