Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Tender Engineer to manage tender documents, propose project methodologies, and coordinate with contractors and consultants. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Study the tender document including drawings, technical specification and capture all the tender requirements in detail.
• Propose and prepare project specific and feasible ERSS system, construction methodology and sequencing of works.
• Prepare method statements, sequencing of work, site utilization plan, traffic control plan, plant and machinery planning, human resource or manpower planning etc.
• Identify potential challenges and propose effective and feasible mitigation measure.
• Liaise and coordinate with specialist contractor/supplier and design consultants to obtain their input for the tender proposal and submission purposes.
• Developing construction Preliminary/Master programme.
• Prepare write up as per PQM and tender requirement.
• Prepare tender powerpoint presentation slides for internal management review prior to submission.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil/Building or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in similar job scope (eg. Tender Engineer, Project Engineer etc.). Candidates with lesser working experience but possesses positive working attitude may be considered.
• Familiar with sequencing and method of construction works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Powerpoint, Microsoft Project, AutoCad etc.
• Proficient in Primavera and Revit will be an advantage.
• Proactive, good team player, ability to meet tight deadline.
