Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule maintenance tasks for ICE assets.
  • Liaise with Mechanical and HSSE teams for work planning and coordination.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings for job assignments.
  • Monitor and schedule work orders in SAP.
  • Communicate and coordinate with external vendors and contractors.
  • Review and validate Method Statements and risk assessments.
  • Ensure proper close out of jobs in SAP.
  • Assist in developing and managing maintenance budgets.

Job description

Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd (SLNG) was incorporated by the Energy Market Authority of Singapore in June 2009 to build, own and operate Singapore's very first open‑access, multi‑user LNG Terminal. This is a key national infrastructure that supports Singapore's energy diversification strategy and future economic development in the energy sector.

With more than 95% of electricity in Singapore being generated using natural gas, the SLNG Terminal helps to enhance the country's energy security by enabling natural gas to be shipped to Singapore from anywhere in the world. It also serves as a platform to facilitate the development of new LNG‑related businesses, thereby contributing to the growth of Singapore's energy industry and the creation of new job opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Daily planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks to carry out all required preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of ICE asset in the Terminal.
  • Work closely with Mechanical, HSSE team to liaise with the Production and Jetty Operations team in the planning and analysis of each work request including coordinating the acquisition of electronic work permits.
  • Carry out daily morning toolbox meeting for job assignments, briefings and any ICE‑MECH work coordination communications.
  • Proficient in SAP to be able to carry out monitoring and scheduling of ICE PM & CM workorders, maintaining of ICE master equipment list, PM plans and raising purchase requisition for spare parts etc.
  • Liaise with External Authority for approval for Natural Gas Equipment maintenance request.
  • Close communication and co‑ordination with external vendors and contractors to attend in‑house safety induction course, carry out site survey, site execution work etc.
  • Review Method of Statement and risk assessments are valid for the job.
  • Responsible for following up and verification that all jobs for close out are properly completed in SAP.
  • Raise Purchase requisitions in SAP and provide scope of supply and spare part specifications and work closely with Procurement Department for evaluation of vendor quotations for maintenance service contract/technical work outsourcing, monitoring of delivery of spare parts and materials.
  • Assist in the development of Maintenance budget, provide budget forecast, monitor and manage approved budget.
  • Apply Jurong Island Pass sponsorship for external vendor.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree/Diploma preferably in Electrical/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 (Degree) years and 8 (Diploma) years of experience in an oil and gas/petrochemical E&I maintenance supervisory or E&I maintenance planning and scheduling role.
  • Proficient in usage of Microsoft Office computer software and SAP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to work in dynamic environment.
