Job description

Teaching & Lesson Delivery

• Conduct one-to-one piano lessons for students of different ages and levels.

• Follow the school’s teaching philosophy: balance interest, discipline, and performance training.

• Prepare students for:

  • Practical lessons (technique, repertoire, sight‑reading, aural).

  • Theory lessons (basic to advanced).

  • ABRSM exams, internal assessments, and competitions.

• Customise lesson plans based on each student’s progress and learning style.

• Maintain a high standard of teaching and demonstrate musical professionalism.
  

  Performance & Event Involvement

  • Participate in:

    • Student recitals

    • Studio concerts

    • Masterclasses

    • Competitions (as accompanist or coach, if needed)

  • Assist to maintain discipline and smooth flow during events.

  • Represent the school in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
