Job description

Position: Physical security officer (1 yr renewable contract+1 mth completion bonus)

Summary of the role:
  • Support and manage the day-to-day security operations within the Bank, including regular review of security related controls.
  • Conduct regular clear desk check in accordance with Clear Desk Policy.
  • After-office hour support may be required to handle emergency situation, in both physical security and crisis management related matters.
Role Description:

Responsible for the Physical Security (PS) of the related Singapore premises.

This external contract resource is part of a team of 3 to provide the required services and meet the requirements expected of the Physical Security.

This includes performing risk mitigation checks on physical security requirements where 23 controls (control reports) are required to be signed off per annum, which includes two material outsourcing contracts of the two Data Centre's where additional controls will be introduced.

Experience and skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of BCM experience; or equivalent
  • Strong understanding in Business Continuity Management or Corporate Security or Security areas
  • Experience of good understanding of incident management
  • Good understanding of relevant products, services, process in banks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding and basic knowledge in physical security
  • Administratively competent
Training and certificates:

Related security and BCM training conducted by ABS or Corporate Security Association etc.

On-call duty requirement: Yes

Work location: daily reporting, next to Expo MRT
