Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our dynamic international school community in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love for physical activity across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Instruction
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons that align with the school’s curriculum framework
  • Teach fundamental movement skills, team games, health-related fitness, and sport-specific skills appropriate to the age and ability of students.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment where students of all abilities are encouraged to participate and achieve their potential.
Assessment & Reporting
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents on performance and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and participation.
Co-Curricular Activities & Events
  • Organize, coach, and supervise sports clubs, school teams, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Coordinate and manage sports events, inter-house competitions, and/or inter-school tournaments.
  • Encourage student participation in physical activity beyond the classroom.
Health & Safety
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students during PE lessons and sports activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments for activities, equipment, and facilities.
  • Maintain and oversee use of PE and sports equipment, reporting any hazards or maintenance needs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
