Job summary

A leading firm in smart home solutions in Singapore is seeking a dedicated professional to engage with clients and propose tailored smart home solutions. This role involves understanding client needs, coordinating installations, and presenting solutions effectively. Ideal candidates will possess a Polytechnic Diploma in a related field and have a sales-driven mindset with at least one year of experience, preferably in customer-facing roles. The position offers a competitive salary of up to $2,900 plus commission.

Job Responsibilities
  • Meet with homeowners, interior designers, and electricians to understand renovation and smart home needs.
  • Propose tailored smart home solutions that align with client requirements and lifestyle.
  • Explain IoT technologies and solutions in simple, client-friendly terms.
  • Answer client questions and provide technical clarifications during the pre-sales process.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth installation and setup during renovations.

  • Standard workdays, with flexibility for weekends/public holidays to match renovation schedules or client handovers.
  • Time off-in-lieu will be provided where appropriate.
Salary

Job Requirements
  • Polytechnic Diploma in Information Systems, Infocomm Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience (including internships/projects).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to build rapport with both clients and partners (IDs, electricians, contractors).
  • Basic knowledge of networking and IoT (Wi‑Fi, Zigbee, RF, IR, Bluetooth).
  • Interest in smart home technologies and eagerness to learn on the job.
  • Good organisational skills to handle multiple client projects.
  • Sales‑driven mindset with willingness to hit monthly targets.
Nice-to-Have
  • Familiarity with smart devices like Philips Hue, TP‑Link, Sonos, or Google Home.
  • Pre‑sales or customer‑facing experience.
  • Basic scripting/automation knowledge (Python, Node‑RED, Home Assistant).
  • Driver’s License (preferred) — as site visits to clients and renovation sites are required.
  • Ensure sales targets are met while maintaining strong client relationships.
